Christmas has once again arrived as advertisers compete to have their campaigns stand out at a very cluttered time of the year. Sky, Xfinity,Barbour and Macys all elected to tie in movies and characters into their campaigns.
Also this month Gillette released their latest partnership with Star Wars, this time to support the upcoming release of Rogue One. And American Express cleverly tied in Frozen dolls in their latest campaign starring Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel.
Lastly, 2 of our event based licensing projects went live this month.
Allegheny Health Network created the worlds biggest version of the classic game Operation. The game which launched in Pittsburgh PA was used to connect to younger audiences and make science and medicine more understandable. It will tour around Pittsburgh until mid December. We secured the rights from Hasbro, the rights holder of Operation, to launch the event.
KFC UK launched their ‘KFC VS’ event on Facebook Live which has attracted over 210,000 views. The event consisted of professional gamers and grime artists pairing up in an eSports competition with a money-can’t-buy prize – a lifetime supply of KFC! We helped secure the rights for them to play game titles Tekken 7 and Trackmania Turbo.
