This is one of a series of TV commercials featuring Yoda from Star Wars developed for Vodafone UK. The Jedi Master finds himself in a Vodafone taxi in London to promote the free phone charging points. The first time we saw Yoda appear in a Vodafone UK commercial was earlier that year for their new Red box product.

Darth Vader teams up with Heidi Klum in this 30 second clip, which was part of a campaign to raise awareness about Target’s wake up calls for their Thanksgiving sale.
Modern Day Cantina

This epic 2 minute commercial launched in the lead up to the 2010 World Cup and presented us with a modern day mash-up of the famous Star Wars Cantina scene. It featured an impressive list of stars including David Beckham, Daft Punk, Snoop Dogg and Noel Gallagher.
Stormtroopers in Japan
This campaign came from Japan, where Stormtroopers blitzed across TV, cinema, web movie, a dedicated website, social networking and storefront for the Nissan Duke.

13 years after launching Star Wars Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace, the title was released in 3D in 2012. Pepsico leveraged the hype around the release by aligning it with their Brisk beverage.

Saving the best for last, this commercial released in line with the 2011 Superbowl. However, it was placed online prior to the big game and it attracted over 1 million views in the first night and a whopping 8 million views before the Superbowl screening.
