March presented a range of great campaigns that successfully leveraged entertainment brands. We were particularly fond of the Cookie Monster spot for Apple which demonstrates how an entertainment brand primarily aimed at children can translate to a much broader audience. Plus – what’s not to love about the Cookie Monster making a mess in the kitchen?

Spotify did a great job of tapping old school movie The Never Ending Story, proving that 80’s entertainment still has plenty of relevance and interest today.

Also this month we noted Holden in Australia extending their partnership with Star Wars, Cartier channeling Gentleman Prefer Blondes and another Apple campaign using existing footage from film 1000 Times Good Night.
