Morrisons supermarkets have celebrated World Book Day this year by licensing JoyPixels emojis in a social media activation.
The emoji designs were used to illustrate children’s book titles and the supporting copy encouraged their followers to guess them.
Some of the emoji designs licensed include the elephant, the lollipop, the dragon and the dress.
The social posts featured across the Morrisons Facebook and Instagram feeds.
This is another great example of how emojis can be tied in to advertising and marketing initiatives. Last month EE licensed JoyPixels emojis in their chatbot for the BAFTAs red carpet event.
