July delivered more examples of how movie, tv, animation and toy brands can be applied in advertising campaigns.

We had the pleasure of working with Sydney based agency Disciple and their client Subaru Australia, who recruited G.I. Joe to star in their campaign for the all new turbocharged Subaru Levorg.

Also spotted in July were a number of movie tie-ins for Ghostbusters and Star Trek in the area of finance, household and technology.

Sesame Street’s Count Von Count and the Yo Gabba Gabba crew proved that children’s brands can be used to appeal to adults.

Lastly, we enjoyed Audi’s #Untaggable campaign that includes gameplay from Candy Crush, along with our favourite lasagne-loving cat Garfield.
