Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy first appeared together as a team in 1927, quickly capturing the hearts of audiences with their unmatched comedic timing, warmth, and universal humor. Their classic shorts and feature films remain foundational to the history of comedy and continue to inspire fans, artists, and creators alike, with deeply devoted audiences across Europe, the United States, and beyond.
LHPC played a pivotal role in extending the duo’s legacy through animation with the production and global distribution of a successful series of Laurel & Hardy cartoons. These episodes brought the duo’s charm to television screens worldwide, introducing millions of viewers to their humor and becoming a cherished part of Laurel & Hardy history.
The enduring affection for the comedy team was reaffirmed with the critically acclaimed 2018 feature film Stan & Ollie, starring Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly.
