PEPPERMINT PATTY
CHARACTER OVERVIEW:
Peppermint Patty lives in a different neighbourhood than Charlie Brown. She attends the same school as Franklin and her best friend, Marcie. Peppermint Patty’s school days are dominated by D-minuses and an unending fear of pop quizzes. Most days she falls asleep in class. After school, however, it’s a different story. She loves sports and excels at baseball, hockey, football, and track. She can be tomboyish and slightly abrasive but deep down is very sensitive and wants to be appreciated despite her big nose and bigger personality. She calls her pal Charlie Brown, “Chuck,” and is adored by her single father, who calls her “A Rare Gem”.
