THE SPHERE SHOWCASED IMPRESSIVE TETRIS INSTALLATION IN LAS VEGAS


USING A VIDEO GAME

 
 

BACKGROUND:

To celebrate iconic Tetris’s 40th anniversary, The Sphere in Las Vegas became one giant Tetris game for CES week as the exosphere turned into a huge version of the game.

THE CALL TO BORN:

As agents to Tetris, we represented the video game in the deal and contributed to it being shown on The Sphere. 

WHERE BORN LICENSING ADDED VALUE:

With their great relationship with the Rights Holder of the video game, Born Licensing negotiated the commercial terms of the agreement along with managing all other aspects of the project from start to finish.

 

THE APPROVAL PROCESS:

Once the agreement was signed, The Martin Agency could safely feature Tetris on The Sphere. Born Licensing managed negotiations and the approval process from start to finish.

THE LAUNCH:

The Tetriminos appeared on The Sphere on 9th January 2024, and the execution was live for a whole week during CES (Consumer Electronics Show) week.

THE RESULTS:

The campaign was highly successful, and had close to a million online views in the first 24 hours of being live.

THE EXPERIENCE

Born Licensing represented Tetris and managed the entire agreement from start to finish, including negotiation of commercial terms, the contractual process, invoicing and everything else that came up relating to the use of Tetris.
