Wearing her iconic glasses and combat boots, Daria Morgendorffer is smart, she's perceptive, she's honest. No wonder she's unpopular. She is a writer and a keen observer of the ridiculous behavior of her elders, her contemporaries, and even herself. She tries to stay away from school activities and family obligations by blending into the background, but of course that never works. She is inevitably pulled into the centre of crises, where her with and intelligence either pull the situation back from the brink of disaster... or cause it to degenerate into complete chaos.

Sarcastic realist Daria and her best friend, artist Jane, weathered the indignities of high school and their idiotic classmates at Lawndale High in this biting social satire about popular culture's obsession with appearances and conformity. This wildly popular animated comedy premiered on MTV in 1997 and ran for 5 seasons.
