Did someone order a perfectly executed triple Krabby Patty Supreme? ‘Cause that’s what’s cookin’ waaay down here in the depths of the Pacific Ocean, in Bikini Bottom, home to the finest eating establishment ever established for eating - The Krsuty Krab. And in the Krusty Krab you’ll find the world’s most dedicated fry cook (and most popular sponge), SpongeBob SquarePants.
When he’s not grilling up the tastiest snack in the sea, you’ll find SpongeBob in his pineapple house with his pet snail, Gary. Or, along with best pal Patrick, stalking wild jellyfish, riding fishing hooks, even competing against a rock in a race. Unlike SpongeBob, Patrick, a pink sea star with a penchant for lying dormant, has no steady job. But together, they have a good time–most often at the expense of everyone around them.
He’s just a talking sponge is all... Optimistic, hardworking and, in his own words, “a little bit naïve... I love my job at the Krusty Krab, I sleep with my shoes on, I like jelly on both sides of my toast, I’ve got an overdue library book. I think jelly-fishing and bubble- blowing are the seabee’s knees. I have a slight overbite, say the word ‘fancy’ in conversation, like to dance to loading-zone announcements, and I still don’t have my driver’s license.” Ah, yes. SpongeBob’s been trying to pass the hands-on part of his driving test for more than a decade, but to no avail. He has failed 1,258,056 times. But he aces the written part!
