The Grand High Witch is the leader of all the witches in the world. She is a terrifying, merciless leader who has “magic in her fingers and devilry dancing in her blood”. Her grand plan is to rid the world of children, frizzling them like fritters. The Grand High Witch wears a clever disguise as a glamorous young woman to disguise the pure horror underneath.
