Born Licensing announces ANZ ROADSHOW

We are a talent agency for fictional characters.

Our roster of A-list fictional talent includes the likes of Rocky, The Godfather, The Smurfs, The Cookie Monster, Power Rangers, He-Man, Shrek, Transformers, and thousands more…

Since the pandemic hit, we have presented to agencies across the globe including Wunderman Thompson, Hero, R/GA, M&C Saatchi, Havas, Special Group, TBWA, The Martin Agency, The Monkeys, DDB, Ogilvy, and many more.

Hot off the heels of our US Roadshow, Born Licensing has announced an ANZ Tour, kicking off in Melbourne. We’re excited to be offering our popular Character Licensing Workshops to advertising agencies across ANZ during spring/summer 2023. See dates below:

Melbourne: March

Sydney: May

Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane: June

Aukland: July

The licensing workshops will help advertising agencies navigate the typical challenges that arise when working with fictional characters and IP. This will include considerations during the creative development stage, all the way to negotiating the usage terms and the critically important approval process. Attendees will also get a behind-the-scenes look at some of our most popular campaigns including Ninja Turtles for Direct Line and Elf for ASDA.

The free 60-minute workshops will be run virtually by Stephanie Candiloro, Born Licensing’s Director of Business Development for APAC. In-person workshops may also be available on request depending on timings.

Born Licensing has managed the licensing of characters and IP in campaigns around the world for major brands such as Uber, Google, KFC, Cadbury, Danone, Facebook, Instagram, and Samsung. To request a workshop please send your availability to stephanie.candiloro@bornlicensing.com.

Born Licensing’s Character & IP Licensing Workshop:

Our licensing workshops have been extremely popular in the US, so we’re super excited to bring the workshop to Australia and New Zealand. From our IPSOS MORI research, we know that the Aussie public most want to see famous characters in advertising, compared to celebrities, sports stars, and musicians. And yet, celebrities are used significantly more than famous characters in Australian advertising. Our workshops have been developed to give advertising professionals the understanding and the tools needed to create and produce standout creative with characters and IP.”David Born, CEO of Born Licensing.
