BORN LICENSING ANNOUNCES US ROADSHOW
The licensing agent will be offering free character licensing workshops to advertising agencies across the US.
Born Licensing has announced a US roadshow that will offer a series of character licensing workshops for US based advertising agencies.
The 60-minute workshops will take place between February 6th and March 10th and will be run in person by CEO David Born.
Initially the workshops will be offered to advertising agencies in New York, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Richmond, Atlanta and Miami. Workshops will be available in other locations throughout 2023.
The offering follows a busy 2022 where Born Licensing ran workshops for agency production and creative teams across Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Agencies of all sizes attended the virtual presentations including DDB, BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis, Havas, McCann, TBWA, Leo Burnett, BBH, Ogilvy and many more.
The licensing workshops, which are available to book now through the Born Licensing website, will help advertising agencies navigate the typical challenges that arise when working with fictional characters and IP. This will include considerations during the creative development stage, all the way to negotiating the usage terms and the critically important approval process.
Born Licensing has managed the licensing of characters and IP in campaigns around the world for major brands such as GEICO, Uber, Envestnet, Old Navy, Google, KFC, Cadbury, Danone, Direct Line, Facebook, Tesco, Barclaycard, British Airways, Subaru, Walmart, T-Mobile, Samsung, Ritz, ASDA, and Instagram.
The workshops are free of charge and will take place at advertising agency offices during the following dates:
New York: 6-13 February
Chicago: 14-17 February
Detroit: 20-23 February
Boston: 23 February – 1 March
Richmond: 1 – 3 March
Atlanta: 6-8 March
Miami: 8-10 March
Bookings can be made by visiting this dedicated page or emailing contact@bornlicensing.com.
Born Licensing plans to offer the workshops to advertising professionals in other US cities throughout 2023 including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and Dallas.
